Main advantages of Ratings Central compared to other systems:

• Free

• The system has been based on sound statistical principles and has no inflation. Therefore can be used at local, regional, national and international level without compromising on fairness or accuracy
  
• Furthermore, every player only has one rating, i.e. not a separate rating for mens, cadet, minor etc. This is more logical and is an efficient use of results, which leads to more accurate ratings
  
• The ability to search any players rating and see where points are won and lost
• Automatic and instant rating updates after tournaments using free and powerful tournament software provided
• All ITTF senior and junior events are inputted into the system, along with many pro leagues (French, German etc.) allowing for accurate comparison of standard between countries
• A player can keep track of their progress over time, as a ‘2000 rated player’ or ‘700 rated player’ have concrete and well defined levels.
• Is adaptable to run with any league software using the Rating Central API
